KJZZ-14 to Broadcast Jazz Games in HD!
Comcast Digital Cable Customers With HD Will Receive Jazz Games on Comcast Channel 657
Salt Lake City (April 17, 2008) – Randy Rigby, President of Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, announced today that KJZZ-14 will now broadcast Jazz games in High Definition (HD).
“The NBA Playoffs are big, but will now be even bigger in HD and the picture quality is spectacular,” said Rigby.
KJZZ-TV plans to broadcast all 2008 Utah Jazz Playoff games in HD.
Viewers can receive the signal over the air or through a Comcast Digital Cable subscription with HD on Comcast channel 657. Over the air viewers with HD televisions can receive the signal via roof top antennae or rabbit ears. Over the air viewers with HD ready televisions that do not have built in HD tuners need a set top HD TV tuner in addition to the roof top antennae or rabbit ears to receive the signal. Set top HD TV tuners can be purchased at a variety of local retailers.
Viewers can check any of the following websites on a game by game basis to be sure that KJZZ-14 is broadcasting in HD for a particular game. www.thefansports.com , www.kjzz.com , www.utahjazz.com.
