You Can Improve Your Viewing Experience

If you receive KJZZ using an antenna and recently have lost the KJZZ signal please do a rescan for channels using your TV Menu or Setup. This should correct the problem and allow you to view KJZZ again.

For the best reception, you should locate your VHF/UHF-capable antenna on the roof of your house, aimed at your local transmitter. Your local TV retail store will have information regarding this.

The following information is provided by KJZZ-TV to help viewers setup their television to receive KJZZ-TV Channel 14 and to help improve picture quality. For any troubleshooting help, please call 801-238-6357 and our reception technician will contact you.

When your antenna is setup properly you should get a good picture on your TV. If you only receive pictures on channels numbered 13 and lower, you have a setup problem. To fix this, on your remote for the TV set or on the front of the TV, press the MENU button: select the SETUP option: select the ANTENNA or TV option. You should now have pictures on channels numbered 14 and higher. If you have an autoprogram option, select it and it will setup your TV to receive all of the available channels in your area.

If you have several TV's in your household, you may need an amplifier. This device helps overcome the signal loss that happens as you split the antenna signal across many TV's. The amplifier needs to be installed BEFORE the first antenna splitter in your system.

Make sure all connectors are SECURELY tightened!

If you have an older TV or VCR you may have separate connectors for VHF and UHF, both should be connected to the antenna cable on both the TV and VCR. The appropriate converter is available at most TV or antenna retail outlets.

Power interruptions, such as power failures, power spikes, and disconnecting the set can change the settings of your TV tuner. So, if you lose your picture, check your settings as indicated at the beginning.

If you have a TV set that does not have on screen programming, the set may have a TV/CABLE button on the front of the TV that you will have to reset to get your picture.

KJZZ is available on both Dish and Direct TV: Local Option. If you live near a community you may have cable available.

KJZZ is available on most cable systems.
