There are many reasons why women have a pooch in the lower area of their abdomen, especially as they age. Each reason is separate and needs to be treated specifically.
Here are nine reasons for a "pooch" and an idea of what actions you can take to fix the problem:
1) Weak muscles (Exercise)
2) Fat (Weight Watchers)
3) Low back out of alignment (Chiropractic care)
4) Yeast/Candida (Yeast diet, cleanse, herbs, homeopathic)
5) Fluid Retention/Bloating (Limit sugary/salty foods, gum and soda)
6) Bowels (Yearly cleanse.)
1) Posture (Stand up straight and lift the ribs out of the gut)
2) Organs (Massage the organs and press them back in place.)
3) Hiding stuff (Put your make up on while undressed, look at yourself.)
