Katie Baltz, Gym Director, from the Little Gym of Salt Lake City discussed the benefits of putting your child into this program, as well as, some tips for skills and spotting at home. Robin Wes started the first The Little Gym in 1976. Originally from South Africa, Robin wanted to provide something for kids that let them know they were special. Growing up in the South African culture he was taught that children were to be invisible – as an adult he wanted to make sure that all kids had the opportunity to find their voice. Today, kids around the world are finding their voice at The Little Gym and the Home Team found out why. The Little Gym mission statement is “Motor skill development made fun builds confidence that leads to a lifetime of success.” Some of the things you will hear at The Little Gym are "helping your kids SOAR". See them balance. See them beam. For every gleeful “Look at me,” an awestruck “Look at him!” The kids always leave Little Gym a little taller.
