Karen Edinton, Author of "Today, I Live... A Gift of Peace for Girls at any Age", joins us to talk about a woman's self worth. Self Acceptance can be a big struggle for women no matter what age we are. We may frequently use life conditions to pinpoint how much we are worth. It is important to understand that our self esteem should not be a conditional thing. Feelings of worth need to come from the inside verses from outside changing sources. Since awareness is one of the first steps to feeling better about our worth, we need to understand what sources we use to determine our value. There are many external things in our life that effect how we feel about ourselves. For more information you can get involved in the Pass It On campaign, and create your own way to help someone who is struggling with self acceptance. You can also refer to the book, “Today, I Live… A Gift of Peace for Girls at any Age.” Karen Eddington is the director of Cauliflower Retreat, a non-profit organization offering worth and purpose resources for women.
