Light and Crispy Waffles
1¾ cups All-Purpose flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
3 Tbsp granulated Sugar
½ tsp. Salt
2 eggs
1¾ cup Milk
½ cup Butter, preferably unsalted, melted
Preheat waffle iron.
In a medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. In a small bowl combine eggs and milk and beat together until well combined. Whisk into dry ingredients, then add melted butter and stir until combined, but do not over mix.
Bake according to directions on your waffle maker.
Top with sweetened whipped cream (or even easier, canned whipped cream) and sweetened strawberry quarters or Homemade Maple Syrup.
