Home Team: Maria shows us how to Tie Dye

By Steve Baxter

Great project to undertake with your family! Fun and creative.
Easiest thing is to buy a kit that includes dyes, rubber bands, etc. Use only cotton or other natural fabrics. Be sure to wear gloves, unless you want multicolored fingers for 2 weeks.
Tie fabric with rubber bands to make designs, saturate with colors. Be creative, there are no rules. Cover with plastic and let the dye do its thing for 6-8 hours. Wash in warm water with a little detergent, you can throw all the stuff you decorated into the washer together, just don’t put anything else in at the same time. Dry and enjoy your creation!
