Last night was the battle of the politicos on Leno and Letterman.
Joe Biden and John McCain were making the rounds.
Here's Senator Biden with Jay Leno... taking a shot at Joe the Plumber.
Meanwhile, Senator McCain sought to make amends with David Letterman.
Remember... McCain stiffed Letterman when he supposedly suspended his campaign... and then went on with Katie Couric instead.
McCain went on to say he hadn't had that much fun since his last interrogation.
With just 2 weeks left in the fight for the white house...the candidates took an evening off to dine without preconditions!
Senators John McCain and Barack Obama laughed it up at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York last nightt. The event is named for the former New York governor and first Catholic to run for president. Both men were light-hearted and cracked several jokes, with Obama saying his running mate now wants to be called "Joe the Senator." McCain joked that Obama's pet name for him is George Bush. He also joked about the clintons.

McCain and Obama were dishing it out and taking it. It was almost reminecesant of a Saturday night live skit. With the political dinner just one day after the last major debate the bitter rivals were able to turn the other cheek and go a little toungue and cheek.
