KJZZ Cafe: Frontline Friday

By Steve Baxter

President Bush is lobbying Congress for approval of a plan for a security agreement leading up to troop withdrawal by 20-12. An unpopular part of the plan... allowing Iraq limited ability to try U-S contractors or soldiers for major crimes committed off-duty and off-base. The President doesn't have to have the Congressional approval, but an agreement without it seems unlikely. Today is Friday... which we call Frontline Friday... a day when we go into a war zone via satellite.
