Sandy City pops up every now and then as one of the fastest growing and desirable business communities in the country. In recents years it's wooed malls, car dealerships, built a giant expo center and a new soccer stadium.

It's home to Jordan Commons.... one of the premier theater
complexes in the country. Many see it as the metropolitan anchor on the south end of the Salt Lake Valley... opposite Salt Lake City on the north. And that's the reason why the upcoming South Valley business to business expo is such a big deal. And someone who's in the thick of it all is Nancy Workman.

She's president and CEO of the Sandy area Chamber of Commerce. She was the first Salt Lake County mayor.... and before that ...county recorder....and before tha... the former CEO of Workman Contruction Company.
