I wanted to design a dress that was like the one that Bella describes in the Twilight book but w/a twist to it. Bella didnt get to pick the dress but she described it as "deep blue, frilly, and off the shoulders" The dress that I designed is a midnight sky blue silk dress with an empire waist with three gold bands around the waist and a diamond cut-out at the center of the bust and then the sleeves are off the shoulder. From the waist/hip down the dress has more of a flowy/loose type look but not poofy, the hem of the dress has a golden lace overlay and is knee legnth. The reason why I picked a goddess gold color was because when I read Twilight I loved the way Bella described Edward's warm golden eye's when he was happy and I thought about how he always dazzles her with his eyes so I added the diamond cut-out, and also I wanted to incorporate something that Bella would like if she were to pick a dress and I really liked the concept of a deep blue with a warm gold color, plus Edward loves the color blue on Bella, so they can both be pleased with it. I hope everyone loves it as I wish it was a real dress, I am not a good artist but I could see the image of this dress so clearly in my mind, I hope you guys can to. I love me some Twilight!!!

You paint a great picture with your words. I love the description.

I really loved the way Bella described Edwards warm golden eyes and the way his skin dazzled like a million little diamonds in the sun, so I wanted to incorporate things that Bella liked into the dress but still keep the blue for Edward.
