Ok twilight fans, most of you know where the inspiration came for this dress, i.e. cover of New Moon. I had a friend refer to the cover as the "stained flower" and that phrase stuck with me. I was trying to think of how to make it a dress when I saw an old photo of a 50s glamor dress with almost a faux zipper cinching down the front, perfect for my look! This dress is updated by adding the black underskirt and making an A-line silhoette instead of a sheath calf-lenght like the fifties. So there you have it, thanks to my friend Ariana, Bella's prom dress the Stained Flower.
