I have a very close friend that is going through a hard time dealing with the fact that his soon to be ex-wife is getting away with child abuse!!!!! He never should have had to deal with this in the first place, but it is made worse by the fact that the system is failing to charge her with child abuse. The police say they don't have enough evidence! They have pictures of the bruises, hand written and signed confession letters, a 9 year old boy telling them that she would push his head into the wall as she walked by and she would beat him (leaving welts) and making him take a cold shower and then make him drip dry naked on the back porch in March (I know we all remember how cold last March was) and waking him up in the night choking him! They have a supported case from DCFS, and the detective still said he doesn't have enough evidence! So what more does this sweet boy have to go through in order for her to be charged and for him to get some justice?? What do they want for her to have killed him? If his dad hadn't of got him out of there when he did she may have killed him, and then would she have been charged or would they have swept it under the rug? This is not the first time I have ever seen this kind of injustice. I myself have had it happen TWICE!! I was rapped and my son was molested by his biological father, and now I am scared to go anywhere in Bountiful!! In my case I chose to go on with my life and hide from the man that did these things to us. So when is it time for those of us that are hiding, or that have been forced to move on, or in jail because we did something for ourselves, to get justice? I say now is the time and I say we start making the children safe. If we don't take action now then it will only get worse!!!!

My husband is over seas fighting for all of our freedom, and from what I have seen lately makes me wonder why he is fighting for us!!!!!!
