aFTER BURNING ALL DAY YESTERDAY MILFORD RESIDENTS AWOKE TO A BEAUTIFUL BUT SMOKEY SUNRISE. aS THE MORNING PROGRESSED IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THE FIRE WAS DISSAPATING, BUT AS THE DAY WENT ON MORE HOT SPOTS APPEARED ALONG THE MOUNTAIN JUST EAST OF MILFORD. bY 7 PM THE FIRE WAS REFUELED AND THE FLAMES WERE TAKING MORE TERRITORY SOUTH. FIREFIGHTERS MANAGED TO SAVE THE GEO THERMAL POWER PLANT, BUT THE FIRE RAGED ON OVER THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN ONCE AGAIN THREATENING THE I15 FREEWAY forcing it closed once again until they can regain more control of the fire..
