The BYU Cougars fell to the Rainbow Warriors three sets to zero, finishing as national runner-up for the fifth time in history.
Hawaii (17-1) won their second national title in program history, while BYU (20-4) finished as the national runner-up for the first time since 2017.
The Rainbow Warriors won the first set 25-21 and the second 25-19. They closed out the championship with a 25-16 win in the final set.
The Cougars have now lost nine consecutive sets in national championship competition, dating back to 2016.
