Provo named least diverse city in America, again

Provo, Utah was named the least diverse city in American, again.

A study conducted by WalletHub looked at socioeconomic, cultural, economic, household and religious diversity. The organization tallied the scores across the five major diversity categories for 501 of the largest cities across 13 metrics.

Provo ranked dead last, with Orem just two spots above it.

KUTV 2News did not commission or participate in this study and could not verify its results or findings.

Orem and Provo tied for the least religiously diverse cities.

In 2019, Provo was also named the least diverse city in the nation.

  2. Parkersburg, WV
  3. Lewiston, ID
  4. Rochester, NH
  5. Keene, NH
  6. Barre, VT
  7. Bangor, ME
  8. Orem, UT
  9. Brattleboro, VT
  10. Provo, UT

  1. Houston, TX
  2. Jersey City, NJ
  3. New York, NY
  4. Dallas, TX
  5. Los Angeles, CA
  6. Gaithersburg, MD
